Fred Steele’s Ventures in Space T-Bucket Goes on Auction Block

As you may know, I’m a huge fan of the iconic Fred Steele T-Bucket that captured the hearts and imaginations of possibly millions when it appeared on the Ventures in Space album cover in 1964. I know you’ll enjoy as much as I did this podcast interview with Bob Collins, who was lucky enough to purchase the T-Bucket from Fred.

Anyone today with appreciation for T-Buckets of the 1960s will love hearing Bob discuss how this truly unique and innovative T roadster came about and how Fred Steele fulfilled his own dreams by moving from Massachusetts to Southern California with it and becoming an L.A. Roadsters member. Quite simply the T has more cool elements than you can shake a stick at. 🙂 You’ll enjoy listening to this Hooked on T-Bucket Hot Rods Podcast episode. 1. I’ve been keeping up with the Ventures T since I saw the album on the wall in my aunts record shop in 1963. I’m still driving the clone I built in the 1990s -titled as a 1919. Where is it now after the auction??
