As you may know, I’m a huge fan of the iconic Fred Steele T-Bucket that captured the hearts and imaginations of possibly millions when it appeared on the Ventures in Space album cover in 1964. I know you’ll enjoy as much as I did this podcast interview with Bob Collins, who was lucky enough to purchase the T-Bucket from Fred.
Anyone today with appreciation for T-Buckets of the 1960s will love hearing Bob discuss how this truly unique and innovative T roadster came about and how Fred Steele fulfilled his own dreams by moving from Massachusetts to Southern California with it and becoming an L.A. I’ve been keeping up with the Ventures T since I saw the album on the wall in my aunts record shop in 1963. I’m still driving the clone I built in the 1990s -titled as a 1919. Where is it now after the auction??
