It has been a dream of mine since ’89 to build a bucket. I was stationed with a fellow from Oregon while i was in Germany. He had some “T” experience. I remember at periods of military “down-time” at an airbase in southwestern Germany, reading past issues of Hotrod magazine that Larry would bring in. I kept commenting to him about “my build”, how i would make my t-bucket. He greeted that enthusiasm with negative comments such as “Dennis, you’ll never build a bucket.” Well here it is 2013 and i am gearing up to start my project. I have waited a long time. Because i was active duty military for over 22 year, then i had to buy the right house with the large three car garage. Always excuses as to why i haven’t started and then I remember how Larry would look at me whenever i talked about building one. Well the enthusiasm is back fellow hot rod brothers. This is my first rod, and it will be my only rod. I have fallen in love with the bucket over 25 years ago and am still as passionate about them today. Here’s to a quality build boys, roll buckets roll !!

the ‘t’ is never going away in spite of what the steel snobs say. like the brit bike snobs they are too busy being “better” than everyone else to really have fun. and if ‘glass is good enough for ed big daddy roth it’s good enough for me.
